~Andromeda
a Fiction Novel
Scarlet Brume is next in line at a coffee shop. The only problem is she doesn’t remember how she got there. This is the first time she’s ever blacked out, or is it? Adding to the mystery, she stumbles upon an amulet in her late mother’s belongings that mysteriously links her to ancient Egypt. Soon after, Scarlet is haunted by disturbing dreams and bloody visions of Egyptian temples and Greek villas.
Reluctantly, she embarks on a journey of discovery into the past to understand the messages from the dreams while her present relationships unravel. Feeling helpless, she connects with her estranged sister and together they plunge into the supernatural realms for answers, only to find Scarlet’s life may be in danger.
From encounters with gods and ghosts to tarot readings and psychic dreams, this story blends supernatural elements with personal discovery. Interwoven into the fabric of the tale are feline characters who add flavor to the dark circumstances, which lead Scarlet on a journey to learn who she is and discover who she was.
The debut novel of Andromeda Grey combines her love of history with her knowledge of the metaphysical world. The story follows Scarlet on her journey in the present while revealing the ancient story behind it all, taking the reader on a voyage to the ancient Mediterranean world and back to Texas.
A Central Texas native, Andromeda’s love of books and historical fiction was sparked by her grandmother’s colorful oral story-telling. As an intuitive tarot and oracle card reader, she also incorporates metaphysical practices into her stories. Her professional background includes experience in research, copywriting, and graphic design, which led to designing and publishing journals and ultimately to writing novels.
